If you are interested in a veterinary field assistant admission 2025 is open at the Directorate of Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Department Assam Announce the admission notification. You can get one year of diploma training Certificate that is based on elementary knowledge of animal husbandry and Veterinary Science. The session 2024-2025 is conducted in the School of Veterinary Science in Ghungoor, Silchar.

📑 Selection Procedure

Selection will be based on a Personal Assessment Test (PAT), academic performance, and aptitude.

📈 Weightage Breakdown

  • 40% – HSSLC (Science with Biology)
  • 20% – HSLC marks
  • 40% – PAT (General awareness, Biology, Physics, Chemistry)

PAT consists of 15 questions (5 from each of 3 board members), each carrying 4 marks.

📋 Final Merit List

The final list is prepared by combining scores from HSSLC, HSLC, and PAT, as per state reservation rules. A medical fitness certificate is required at admission time. Final selection depends on verification of eligibility and medical fitness.
